Quality Assurance - ISO 9001: 2015

Verified Quality

Quality assurance for precision manufacturing begins long before a finished part reaches the inspection department. It starts at setup. At each stage of the process, quality assurance is implemented to ensure accuracy is maintained. By the time a part reaches the quality assurance department, we can quickly determine whether there is a problem and exactly where it occurred. Our team inspects and measures every part to ensure it is ready for action.

If a component does not meet specification, it does not ship, regardless of lead times or quantities. Our commitment to quality is what drives our rejection rate down.

How We Inspect

A Rigorous Four-Stage Inspection Process

01 — Incoming Material Review
Every raw material and incoming component are reviewed against specification before it enters the production floor. Nothing begins without verification.

02 — In-Process CMM Inspection
Our Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM) are programmed to inspect critical dimensions automatically. On longer production runs, parts are sampled at regular intervals to catch deviations early.

03 — Reverse Engineering & Verification
When specifications are unclear or legacy parts require duplication, our team performs complete reverse engineering: measuring all radii, critical diameters, and dimensional geometry to reconstruct accurate specifications from physical parts.

04 — Final Inspection Sign-Off
No part ships without a final inspection sign-off. Our inspection manager holds the authority to approve or reject. This decision is documented, traceable, and accountable.

Built-In Standards

Accountability at Every Stage of the Machining Process

One of the most important drivers of our quality performance is how we handle non-conformances. When a part fails inspection, the question is never simply whether it can pass, it is who made the decision, who signed off, and who is responsible.

By tying quality assurance for precision manufacturing to personal accountability, we ensure that every individual who touches a part understands the standard expected of them. This shift is directly responsible for reducing our overall rejection rate from 5–6% down to 1.6% on a consistent basis.

Corrective Action Tracking

Every non-conformance generates a documented corrective action. We track root causes, responsible parties, and resolutions, ensuring the same defect does not repeat.

Operator-Level Ownership

The machinist who produces a component is accountable for its quality. If a deviation is approved and a part is later returned, that decision and its owner are on record.

Customer Return Management

When a customer rejects a part, we trace it back to its source immediately. Our documented inspection records allow us to respond rapidly, professionally, and with full transparency.

ISO-Certified. Annually Audited.

Our facility maintains full ISO certification, with annual surveillance audits and a comprehensive hard audit every few years. Our quality management system covers every procedure on the shop floor — from corrective actions and non-conformance records to customer returns and process documentation.
